User submissions

Users are solely responsible for the photos, locations, descriptions, records, flags, removal requests, and other content they submit. By submitting content, users confirm that they have the right to submit it, that it was collected lawfully, and that it follows the Community Guidelines.

Records are community-submitted observations at a specific date and time. They are not official city records, verified artist attributions, endorsements, ownership records, maintenance requests, or proof of affiliation with any artist, property owner, city, arts district, business, or organization.

Required safety and content rules

• Respect city rules, posted restrictions, private property, businesses, residents, and artists.
• Do not disturb, touch, alter, clean, decorate, damage, or trespass to photograph murals.
• Do not photograph or identify private bystanders, residents, customers, children, workers, or unrelated people.
• Do not upload private, intimate, graphic, hateful, harassing, promotional, spam, or unlawful content.
• Do not submit false, misleading, unrelated, or intentionally disrespectful records.
• Review AI-assisted names, dates, categories, and descriptions before publishing.

No guarantees

MuralUploads may use automated tools and administrator review, but the site does not guarantee that every record is accurate, complete, current, lawful, respectful, or free from mistakes. Mural text, artist credit, wall condition, access, ownership, and public information may change after a photo is taken.

Users and visitors should not rely on the site as their only source of information and should not use it to make legal, property, travel, safety, financial, or business decisions.

No responsibility for damages

To the fullest extent allowed by law, MuralUploads, its operators, administrators, contributors, service providers, and related businesses are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other damages arising from use of the site, inability to use the site, user-submitted content, misleading posts, inaccurate locations, AI-generated content, delayed removals, moderation decisions, email delivery issues, data loss, or reliance on any information displayed on the site.

Moderation and removals

MuralUploads may hide, remove, edit metadata, restrict accounts, suspend users, or preserve records when needed for safety, privacy, legal, operational, respect, or community reasons. Users may flag content and may request removal of their own records, but removal is not guaranteed.
